Do you offer framing?
All COLLORAGE™ prints are shipped ready to frame. Because we offer our prints in multiple sizes and since there are so many framing options to choose from, whether it be matted, wood, metal, Gatorboard or flush box mounts, rather than limit choice with only standardized frames, we prefer to let our customers find the exact style of frame that best suits their unique interior. Plus, by selling our prints unframed we can keep your shipping expenses and turnaround times down. However, should you require the convenience of pre-framed prints, we can work with you to find framing options that meet your needs and will provide these as a special order. Please contact us directly for pricing.
-
Can these be hung in a different orientation?
Our abstract designs can easily be hung either vertically or horizontally in whatever orientation most pleases you. The figurative designs are less flexible and are displayed in our gallery at their recommended orientation.
-
What is collage art?
Collage is an art form that is created from the assemblage, layering, arrangement and glueing of multiple fragments of printed materials, photos, fabrics, and textures to make a new composition. COLLORAGE™ prints are digital reproductions of paper collages made from vividly colored images cut out of glossy magazines. Although they may look like paintings from normal viewing distance, upon closer inspection the details of the collage process become apparent.
-
Are these Giclée prints?
The Giclée term is generally used when printing digital art prints on canvas or special watercolor papers, but the very same inkjet technology and pigment inks are employed for COLLORAGE™ prints. Upon request we can also produce Giclée prints on canvas or watercolor paper. Contact us for pricing.

Are these limited edition prints?
No, they are not. Limited edition prints typically are printed in predetermined batches with a fixed quantity of prints that are each uniquely numbered and signed by the artist for the benefit of art collectors. COLLORAGE™ prints are of the same quality, but individually printed on-demand in unlimited quantities and multiple sizes so that we may serve a much larger design market.
-
What is the difference between a fine art print and a poster?
Posters are typically mass-produced by the thousands and printed with high-speed 4-color offset presses on conventional paper stock. Because of this they are usually of lower resolution, susceptible to fading and do not have any archival longevity. Fine art prints like COLLORAGE™ are produced individually on-demand with high-resolution 10-color inkjet printers, with archival grade pigment inks onto museum grade acid-free papers with over 70 years of longevity.
